VemeMood Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 2026-05-16

This Privacy Policy explains how VemeMood Team (“VemeMood”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the VemeMood app and related services (the “Service”).

1) Summary (Key Points)

  • We collect information you provide and information collected automatically, plus location data only if you allow it.
  • Your photos and text are intended to be stored locally by default; you control whether to upload content for optional cloud processing.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We share information only as needed: with service providers under contract, with your consent, for legal compliance, or to protect rights and safety.
  • You can request access/correction/deletion and other rights by email. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

2) What VemeMood Does

Relive your cherished memories with VemeMood, a tool to record and organize nostalgic treasures. Snap a photo, add personal notes, create vintage-style keepsakes (such as retro-style memory cards), and browse/sort your memories by date.

3) Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, username, email address.
  • Customer support: messages you send to us (including any information you choose to include).
  • Content you create: photos and text/notes you add to memory entries.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, identifiers (as permitted).
  • Usage data/analytics: in-app actions, feature usage, approximate timestamps, performance metrics.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports, error logs, and related technical data.
  • Location (only if you allow it): precise or approximate location via device permissions.

C. Cookies and Similar Technologies (If Applicable)

If the Service uses web-based components, we may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) for login, preferences, performance, and security. You can control cookies via device/browser settings when applicable.

4) Photos, Face Data, and Biometric Information

  • No face recognition: we do not perform face recognition to identify you and do not collect biometric identifiers/templates for that purpose.
  • One-time processing & deletion: if you choose an optional generation feature using uploaded photos/text, we process once to produce the requested result and delete uploaded inputs promptly after completion, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
  • No training/marketing: we do not use uploaded photos/text to train models for third parties or for advertising/marketing profiling.
  • Default local storage: memory entries are intended to be stored on your device by default, subject to features you enable.

5) Optional Automated Processing / “AI-Style” Features (When You Choose to Upload)

Some features may involve automated processing of images and/or text to generate vintage-style outputs (for example, creating a retro-style memory card). If you choose to upload content for such processing:

  • Processing location: uploaded images/text are processed on servers controlled by VemeMood Team.
  • No third-party sharing for processing: we do not share uploaded images/text with third parties for processing.
  • Deletion after processing: uploaded inputs are deleted promptly after processing completes.
  • Your control: you decide whether to upload and generate outputs; if you do not upload, server-side processing will not occur.
